How this site is written, checked and corrected
This site gives advice people act on: tax filings, purchase decisions, six-figure transfers. That deserves to know how the advice is made. This page is the standard we hold ourselves to; every article on this site can be checked against it.
Every verifiable figure carries a named source
Where an article states something you could act on: a tax mechanism, a deadline, a registry procedure: it names the authority it comes from (Agencia Tributaria, Junta de Andalucía, Catastro, the land registry) and the date we last checked it. The source list at the end of each article is not decoration: those links are verified automatically, and when one of them stops answering, replacing it becomes a work item.
Published dates, and a clock on every article
Each article shows when it was published and when it was last substantively updated. Every article also carries a review interval, because tax rules and registration requirements move under finished text. When the interval runs out, the article is due a re-read against the current legal state, and our build tooling checks published pages against a list of known superseded rules, so a change in the law is a detectable defect, not something we notice by accident.
What we refuse to publish
No invented testimonials, awards, ratings or client stories. No sales figures we cannot evidence. No rental-yield promises, no price forecasts, and no neighbourhood “average prices” where the underlying transaction data does not exist at that level — a made-up average is worse than no number. Where a tax rate is set regionally or is likely to move, we explain the mechanism and name the authority that sets it rather than hard-coding a figure that will quietly go stale.
Who writes this
The editorial content is written and reviewed under the responsibility of Ion Postolache, managing director of MARNER ESTATES Marbella. One named person, one accountable entity, not a content farm.
What we are not
We are not a law firm, not a tax advisory, and not a homologated valuation company (sociedad de tasación), and the articles say so wherever those boundaries matter. We recommend independent legal counsel on every purchase, including purchases we advise on. We also run no listings portfolio in Marbella: the advice here is not written to move inventory.
Corrections
When we find an error (or a reader does) we correct the article, set a new update date, and where the error was material, say what changed. Errors survive review processes; pretending otherwise is how they stay published.
